When you become an instructor, you don’t just teach — you create future lifesavers.
The Instructor Development Academy is a full day for people who want their impact to outlast their own classes. Candidates learn to deliver high-quality CPR, AED, and first aid training inside their own workplaces, schools, and communities.
What the day covers
- Course delivery and adult learning techniques
- Running skills practice and testing sessions
- Equipment handling, setup, and maintenance
- Classroom management and building learner confidence
- Documentation, certification, and record keeping
Every candidate leaves paired with an EPECARE mentor and a support plan for their first classes — because the hardest course you will ever teach is your first one.
Ideal for healthcare staff, school personnel, safety officers, HR and facilities leads, and community organizers. A current CPR/AED certification is required before the academy date.
